Whew!!!! If you are looking to have fun, work super hard, and start sweating during your warm up, this is the class you have to do over and over! 45 minutes of Circuit Training, performing 3 sets of 3 different circuits, with a warm up and cool down included. Laugh, moan and have fun!
Very easy to follow, add-on Step Aerobics that will have you sweating by minute 8! Simple basic step aerobics at a steady 128 bpm will help you burn a lot of calories, and help build up your strength, stamina and really build those lower bodies. If you do not want to use a Step, you can absolutely do this on the floor.
This is a great 30 minute workout for beginners as well as seasoned Steppers! Sherry takes basic steps and combines them repeatedly, for a heart-thumping workout. Great tempo and easy to follow. Don’t want to use a Step? Other members in the class did this class right on the floor without a Step!
Here is a mix of 2 great workouts: Step Aerobics and Dumbbell lifts! We do Step Aerobics for the first 30 minutes or so, and then finish off the class with progressive dumbbell lifts, for 15-20 minutes. NOTES: If you do not want to use a step, this is a perfect routine for on the floor. For dumbbells, get 3 sets – light, mid, and heavy – and have them nearby to go right into after Step. Please be sure to use the correct weighted resistance FOR YOU!!!
This 30-minute Step Class will get you started into the Step Aerobic World. (This is also a great class to get your step requirement in for the day – you can stay right on the floor and do the workout!) Grab a Step/Riser – make sure to check the height of the step to make sure it is appropriate for you. Sherry will take you through 2 very basic steps: Basic Step and V-Step. Once you have that mastered, you can move onto Corner to Corner Steps, and then a Basic March Step on and off the Bench. If you are just starting out, do a bit more each time you try this class, and soon, you will be up to the full 30 minutes.
Thank you to our brave U.S Military for providing us with this 15 minute warm-up cadence training! After the first 15 minutes, we go into floor Aerobics and all you need is you. The last 30 minutes, you can use an Aerobic Bench for Step Aerobics, or you can stay right with the floor – just be sure to step as though you were picking up your feet a bit. Most of us got at least 7000 steps plus, and a real nice heated body!!!
Grab a set of cards and get ready for a 30 minute workout with Trainer Erin and her client Emily! Erin will go through the exercises that you will be performing according to the suit you draw and the number of reps will be determined by the number on the card. Aces are 11 and Jokers are Instructor’s choice…or your choice since Erin is not there :)! Try this out by following this workout with Emily and then try it on your own!
This 30 minute class uses a barbell and dumbbells, and some type of bench (aerobic step or whatever you have). The idea is to select enough weight to perform the exercise for one minute and just bareeelllly be able to do the last few reps – thus, the maxing out. Quick warmup at the beginning and quick core at the end, but the majority of the work is weighted and enough reps to max out – 10 seconds recovery between sets.
Step Aerobics is a workout that can strengthen your entire body. Step Aerobics can be done on any level of step/riser/bench, or if you need to modify, right on the floor. This Intermediate Athletic Step Class is good for anyone who wants to get their heart rate up AND work the lower body in a legit manner! This is not a dance-based class but rather simple moves that are big and bold. Sherry did this class on a high bench and burnt over 500 calories! There are plyometrics at the end, so hang on!
Whew! Cardio & Core & Stretch all in one 55 minute class! The cardio starts right off with a step segment (you can either do it on a step or not!), then goes right into more core-infused cardio to really get you sweaty! Onto the floor for the final core strength work and then the wonderful stretch! Check out all of the modifications around the room!
Oh, how we LOVE Step Aerobics! This is a VERY basic Step Class. Join us using a short step, a taller step, or just the floor, to fit your needs. This is a BEGINNER Step Class. We will soon add 2 more increasingly active Step Classes. Don’t forget to wear your leg warmers! 🙂
